What does being a spartan mean to you?

As someone who was completely new to Manchester, the Spartans has been a great way to meet a bunch of new friends

When did you join?

October 2008

How much experience did you have before joining?

Played for the Newcastle Ravens for two years but with little match play before breaking my leg (not rugby related)

What tours have you been on?

Union Cup London 2009

What has been your best moment since joining the Spartans?

Surviving my first half a match

What has been your worst or most embarrassing moment?

Being described as looking like a 'walking corpse' by the end of my first night out with some of the guys. Also getting the sideline mixed up mid-game which was a bit of a blonde moment!

What would you say to someone who was thinking of joining

If like me, you're new to Manchester, it's a great way to meet new friends. Also for keeping fit and challenging yourself.
