Hürth Rugby Sevens Tournament, Cologne, May 2007
After a tough 2006/07 league season the Spartans travelled to Cologne for a bit of fun on tour. There was loads of drinking with the odd bit of rugby thrown in. The whole of Friday was spent drinking in one of the town squares in full Spartan togas, several members showing off impressive sewing skills. Unsurprisingly, the Worst Underwear (concealed under togas beforehand) competition was won by one of the three 'token straights'!
Rugby result: came more or less last place, including a thrashing by the British Army Sevens Rugby team!
