Kit-drive on Canal St, Manchester, February 2009
The Spartans like to have fun whilst fund-raising and what better place to do it that in the Gay Village of Manchester? During several outings each year, the lads sell raffle tickets to the public in rugby kit. The tickets are provided by the RFU for all Clubs to sell and gives each the chance to raise some much-needed funds for rugby activities such as matches, equipment and tours. Plus, a bit of 'exposure' for the Club is always a good thing!
