The Clubhouse for Manchester Village Spartans RUFC is based in Sale, on the southern border of Greater Manchester. The Club is part of the Sale Sports & Social Club on Clarendon Crescent, Sale.

From the West and North-West on the M60, at Junction 7, exit toward Altrincham and turn right at A56/Chester Rd. Continue to follow A56 and after about half a mile, turn left at B5397/Dane Rd. Drive. After about 0.7 miles turn right into Clarendon Crescent where the carpark entrance is first right.

From the East and North-East, on the M60, at Junction 6, take the A6144 exit to Sale. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto A6144/Old Hall Rd heading to Sale. Take the first right into B5397/Dane Rd. After about half a mile, turn left into Clarendon Crescent and the carpark entrance is first right.

From the South and South-West using the M56, exit at Junction 5 onto the M60. At Junction 6, take the A6144 exit to Sale. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto A6144/Old Hall Rd heading to Sale. Take the first right into B5397/Dane Rd. After about half a mile, turn left into Clarendon Crescent and the carpark entrance is first right.

By Rail & Tram:

Travel to Manchester Piccadilly station. Join the Metrolink tram service towards Altrincham.

Exit at the Dane Road stop. Exit the station, turn right and walk down Dane Road for a couple of minutes looking out for the tennis courts on the right. Turn right into Clarendon Crescent and the Clubhouse is immediately on your right.

** Altrincham and Eccles line closures **

During August, the Altrincham and Eccles lines will be closed for essential system upgrades. Metrolink services will be suspended from 1 August and start running again on Tuesday 1 September 2009. Frequent replacement buses will run between all key stops as well as direct services.

Please also note that:

The changing rooms are in the basement of the Clubhouse and the entrance is round the back of the building on the Dane Road side.

The rugby pitches are out of view from the Clubhouse and are accessed via a short passage between the houses on the corner of Dane Road and Clarendon Crescent.
