What does being a member of the Village Spartans mean to you?
Being a member of the Spartans is like being part of a very large family! You can share your joy, be up picked when you're down but most of all be part of a team of like minded people who have the same passion as you – Rugby! And of course meeting up for a pint or two with your mates!

December 2003
How much rugby had you played before joining?
As a lot of us in the team – during my days at school
What has been your best moment in the Spartans?
Being nominated by my peers as Players Player of the Year 2006/7 and holding my current Post of Social Sec in the clubs committee
What was your worst or most embarrassing moment in the Spartans?
Not sure that I can share that and plead the 5th amendment on this one!
What would you say to someone who was interested in joining the Spartans?
If you are interested, come on down to a training session on a Wednesday evening, meet the lads (we don’t bite!). I appreciate it could be daunting but I did it and have enjoyed being part of the Spartans growing success ever since! Don’t think about it – do it!
